Rietveld Miniature Zig Zag Chair 1934 by Vitra Design. Between 1932-34, Rietveld created the classic Zig-Zag Chair. Rietveld's Zig Zag is a minimalistic design without legs, made by 4 flat wooden tiles that are merged in a Z-shape. This Vitra Miniature Zig Zag chair is made according to scale 1:6. It stands 4.84" tall. Designer: Gerrit Rietveld, 1934. Vitra original miniature chair. This amazing and highly detailed miniature is an exact copy of the original large version! The miniature comes in a wooden box with a brochure which provides art-historical information on the background to the design, biography of the designer, and the production history of the respective chair.
