The miniature comes in a wooden box with a brochure which provides art-historical information on the background to the design, biography of the designer, and the production history of the respective chair.
The Coconut Chair was inspired by the coconut shell. The seat consists of a glass-fibre reinforced plastic shell with upholstery. The three-legged base of tubular steel is stabilized using fine crossbars. One has the impression that the frame spans the floating, swinging form taut and fixes it to the floor.
Size: 5.43" x 6.22" x 5.71" (13.8 x 15.8 x 14.5 cm).
