I Volti Tre Modern Italian Screenprint by Mimmo Paladino
Danese Milano, Italy
Danese's 'I Volti Tre' Silkscreen is a modern abstract silkscreen (unsigned edition with yellow dots and the signed edition with yellow and red dot) designed by Mimmo Paladino as a tribute to Bruno Munari. Designed by the Italian sculptor, painter and muralist 'I Volti Uno' features Paladino's Transvanguardia artistic style which brings to mind earlier influences of the Bauhaus and Piet Mondrian albeit on a lighter and more playful note.
The series of prints entitled 'I Volti' is inspired by the video Giocosa Mente, a work for moving images created by Paladino as a tribute Bruno Munari for the 100th anniversary of his birth. With simple, bright coloured marks and lively shapes that express both energy and emotion this print emits that sense of playful creativity that was typical of Munari's work.

From 1963 until 1976, Italian designer Enzo Mari created his iconic series; "Serie della Natura” for Edizione Danese Milano. With "Serie della Natura", Enzo Mari paid tribute to nature and sought to bring natural elements such as animals and flowers into the home. Although he has been compared to pop-art masters such as Andy Warhol and Tom Wesselmann; Enzo Mari's body of work is uniquely different. Each boldly colored Enzo Mari art work was silk-screened and printed on heavy-wove texilina paper (a blend of paper and fleece). Top text references the name of the designer, Enzo Mari, and the title of the work. "Quindici Il Gorilla" ships rolled in a super strong poster tube. Check our other Danese items.
